Smoothie/Shake Chronicles, Part 1: Banana with no banana?

I need to go grocery shopping. What's new, right? I'm low on produce, which includes two of my main staples for my breakfast shake: bananas and kale. Because of this I decided to switch things up and throw in some alternatives, barring the kitchen sink. The resultant? The combination I went with tasted oddly as though I had actually used bananas. Crazy taste buds --but I'll take it. 

Ingredients (not measured, but estimated):

1/4 cup almond milk (Silk, regular unsweetened)
2 scoops chocolate protein powder
1/2 cup spinach
1/2 cup red cabbage
1/2 cup carrots (I buy already julienned)
2 TBS peanut butter
