I’m pretty sure that my house is exuding a new sense of
humor in the form of micro-disasters. Yesterday my daughter’s beading storage
container managed to take a dive in the laundry room thus expelling microscopic
beads to the four corners of never-going-to-see-the-light-of-day. I discovered
this fun mess when I went to do laundry. I was ever so excited to have another
chore at hand. This fun was only too short lived, so of course my house decided
to extend another random act of joy giving. I was cutting open a bag of lentils
to cook with quinoa when the bag leaped out of my hands sending a chattering
cascade of lentils across the countertop. I paused with the expectation that I
would be able to hear the walls of the house snickering at me. They refrained
so as to rob me of any gratification. Oh so funny.
Great Blog Derek! At least it wasn't the Quinoa :)
